Melody Marrs, CFRE!

We are honored to recognize Melody Marrs, CFRE with the J. Lloyd Horton Lifetime Achievement Award. This award recognizes an AFP Tampa Bay Chapter member dedicated to the profession of philanthropy. Melody’s professional and personal activities reflect her dedication to helping others.

Melody began her fundraising career at the Hillsborough Education Foundation and currently serves as the Director of Community & Fund Development for Goodwill Industries-Suncoast. Throughout her career, she has managed many aspects of development from events and annual giving to capital campaigns. Melody serves our community through Greater Tampa Chamber, Leadership Tampa and Leadership Tampa Bay. She is an active board member of the We’re HERE to HELP and Leadership Tampa Bay Foundation. Melody has been a member of AFP Tampa Bay for 19 years, is past president and currently serves on the AFP Florida Caucus. She has Chaired and served as Education Committee Co-Chair for the annual statewide Planet Philanthropy Conference. Melody is a Tampa native, married, with 4 children, 6 grandchildren and 2 adorable pups...who she calls the “loves of her life!”

PLEASE NOTE: Once a meal choice has been made, it CANNOT be changed the day of at the luncheon. Food service has been extremely delayed at the past few meetings for a number of our guests due to attendees changing their meal or sending their meal back for changes.

Payments may be paid in advance or at the door. Reservations after 12 PM on the Friday before the meeting, and walk-ins, are charged $40 at the door. No shows will be billed.
